“Before the ice is in the pools, Before the skaters go, Or any cheek at nightfall is tarnished by the snow, Before the fields have finished, Before the Christmas Tree, Wonder upon wonder will arrive to me!”
“The Christmas spirit that goes out with the dried-up Christmas Tree is just as worthless.”
The Earth reminded us of a Christmas Tree ornament hanging in the blackness of space. As we got farther and farther away it diminished in size. Finally it shrank to the size of a marble, the most beautiful marble you can imagine.
Angels decorated the tree tiny ones, big ones, some suspended from the ceiling. It was as if a heavenly choir had descended to sit in the middle of our great room and entertain our guests.
It matters not if a tree is green, plastic or aluminum. It only matters that it is decorated with smiles.
